I bid a tearful goodbye to my faithful companion this afternoon. I sent my Wii back to NoA to get cleaned up. Apparently, some Wiis have problems reading dual-layer DVDs, of which the Brawl disk is. The first of its kind, apparently.

Nintendo will accept Wiis back for cleaning, free of charge, and free shipping as well. They say I'll get it back in a week; it feels like an eternity.

For nearly a year and a half the Wii has entertained me, through Twilight Princess, Elebits, Super Paper Mario, Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, and on to the most recent spectacular duo of Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I hope it returns soon; Alex and I are saddened.
